CAREAiD commissioned PBS to develop a report that addresses the role that CAREAiD, a new assistive technology, can play in the telecare and telehealth markets in the UK. The report outlined that there was clearly a market for CAREAiD considering how the COVID-19 pandemic catalysed the uptake of telecare and telehealth solutions by hospitals, clinics, and primary care givers, and that the UK has an aging population with an increased life expectancy in contrast to previous generations. As well as the fact that CAREAiD features such as the employment of monitoring assistive technology to capture an individual’s temperature, blood pressure, steps, etc., considerably differ the firm from other incumbents.
